I was told that my starter needed replacement by another shop Walstad did a check and found out that it was a battery issue. They replaced it fast and car is back to normal. Great, fast service. Qualified professionals.

18 year old Very low mileage car. I decided to replace both front CV axles as one was bad. Walstad did these and more at a reasonable cost and informed me along the way as work progressed. When picking up our car the actual Mechanic checked us out and spoke about the job. A 100 percent plus experience for us.

Walstad got me in quickly with no notice or appointment and fixed my air conditioning, power steering line, and axle shaft seal. Friendly professional staff and they have an impressive and clean shop. I'll be going back there again for future service as I continue to fix up my van. **** Sorry I have to update my review. I just asked for a quote to purchase and install new shocks. The shocks any person off the street can buy for under $400. The quote, including the shocks was $1500. I know prices are high everywhere, inflation is high, labor is high, but this is a couple of hours work for about $1100. That's too high. The original work I reviewed above was good and the price was high, but not that prohibitive. So I'll be looking elsewhere for a better deal. I have an Automotive Technology degree and field experience myself, though it is from a long time ago. I may have to dust off my tools because I'm not paying $1500 for 4 shocks and the install!

We brought my car in right when they opened. They were friendly, helpful, and got us a diagnosis quick. They were then able to fix my car same day and have it back to me that evening. Great service! Will definitely be bringing my car back here if I’m ever in need.

I often go to Walstad Automotive whenever I have issues with my car, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. As a woman without parents or older brothers to help guide me with car problems, going to an auto shop by myself has always felt intimidating. I used to worry about being taken advantage of, and in the past, when I asked questions, some mechanics seemed impatient or dismissive. A good friend recommended Walstad to me, and since then I have never felt safer or better taken care of. They are honest, patient, and always willing to explain things clearly without making me feel uncomfortable. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism with genuine kindness, and that is exactly how I feel every time I go there. I really appreciate their honesty and the way they treat their customers.
